There are three types of prints available: Gloss, Matted and Lustre. I don't really offer prints in anything but lusture with the exception of 24x36/36x24 because that print isn't available in lustre. Hopefully that will change in the future.
For framed prints under glass, Lustre works best, which is a cross between gloss and matted.
If you don't plan on putting an image under glass or right up next to the glass where it will touch it, gloss is a great choice, as it offers that smooth shiny look without that matted look, but it will reflect some glare.
If a gloss print does end up touching the glass, it can produce a visual anomaly that can look like streaks where the contact point behind the frame presses on the image and holds it in place. This can look bad.
A matted print won't do that, but it's doesn't have the shiny smooth look of a gloss print.
The lustre option is probably the best choice, as the streak marks don't appear, nor do fingerprints, and there is shine to the image. Standing away from the framed picture, you really don't notice the matted look that goes with it, and the gloss shine still makes the picture pop like a gloss print would.
Besides prints, I also have photo ready coffee mugs, tote bags and postcards. Click on the links to see samples of what you'll be getting!!
