Question: On the pictures of people, you have your copyright on them. Do you put that all of the pictures you take of people?
No, I do not include that notice on the front of pictures that I take of people that are contracted works for personal use. Those copyrighted marks are only on the pictures in the gallery. Unless you want me to put writing on your photographs, all you'll get is a high quality image with no words.
Question: Do you shoot weddings?
Yes. Contact me, and we'll set up a meeting and discuss the details.
Question: I want something in a size you don't offer. Are other sizing options available?
Yes. I can make images available in many different sizes. Just contact me, and we'll see what can be worked out to meet your needs.
Question: Do you matte and frame?
No. I stick to prints only.
Question: There are three options when I go to order: matte, gloss and lustre. What's the difference, and is one better than the others?
I answer those questions on my buying tips page.
Some canvas prints can come mounted. To get an idea of what they may look like, click here for an example.
Question: What is Smugmug?
Smugmug is a service provided to photographers on the web from where photographs can be posted and purchased. All of the ordering of my prints is done through Smugmug, where they handle the transaction, printing and shipping.
Question: It's been about two weeks, and my order hasn't arrived. What happened, and who do I contact?
Smugmug says to give a standard shipping order about two weeks to arrive. Normally, things arrive in about five business days, give or take. If it's been two weeks, e-mail me and I'll contact the folks at Smugmug, or contact Sumgmug directly by clicking here, and be sure to include your order number so they can research it faster. Most of the time things go off without a hitch, but every once in a while the works get gunked up somewhere, but when the Smugmug people are made aware of a problem, they tend to move on it quickly.
One thing to note is that shipping applies to shipping time only. It has to printed before it is shipped, and that generally takes about a day. Also, please allow for an extra day if there is a holiday between the time you order and expect to receive your item or even a little longer if you place an order during the holidays.
Question: Is there a web browser that works better when viewing your galleries?
Actually, if you're using an Apple Computer, Safari rocks. If you're using the Microsoft platform, in the latest version of Internet Explorer, things should look great too. Things don't work so well in older versions of IE. FireFox seems to work well too.
